  • Let coals cool completely before properly discarding them

  • Attend all cooking appliances, especially with children around

Burn Restrictions Lifted

With the recent atmospheric conditions lowering the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS), Mason County will be following DNR’s lifting of all burn restrictions effect immediately, allowing for Residential and Permitted Land Clearing burns. Please note that if you live in the Urban Growth Areas of Allyn, Belfair, or Shelton, only Recreational Burning is allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Fire Marshal at 360-427-9670, extension 309.
